Halle meets with Alicia + Phone Chat

Alicia- "I was able to solidify these.  They'll be happening over the next couple of months.  The dates are listed on the right."

Alicia- "The magazine will come take pictures of the boutique, along with your top selling items."

Alicia- "And Candy Crew, which is a local TV show, wants you to bring in four to five in season pieces."

Alicia- "Then as you can see, there's a fashion show.  You'll need five outfits to come down the runway."

Alicia- "It's collective; other shops will also be featured.  It'll be fun and a good way to promote."

Halle- "This is great stuff.  Thank you."

Alicia- "No problem.  I'm still working on other things."

Alicia- "So, if they come to pass, you'll be the first to know."

 

Halle- "What ever happened to Cindy the fashion blogger?"

 

Alicia- "Oh, she's ready, but she wants to make it a more personal experience.  Like, come in, try on clothes and take pictures and such."

 

Halle- "Okay, that'll work.  Can you set it up?"

 

Alicia- "Of course and before I go, how would you feel about me approaching Mrs. Silverstein again?  That's a great magazine to get into."

 

Halle- "No thank you, I'll pass."

Alicia- "Oh Mrs. Halle Waverly!"

 

Alicia- "Are you holding a grudge?  It's not good for business my dear."

Halle- "I'm not holding a grudge.  Her review of the boutique wasn't nice, so she's likely to say no."

 

Alicia- "So.  It doesn't hurt to try."

Halle- "Fine.  Try."

Alicia- "Great!  I'll be in touch."

 

 

Meanwhile...

Shane is at home about to bite into his sandwich when his phone rings.

 

Shane-  *grin* "Hey."

Kelly- "Hey, um, thanks for the flowers.  They're really beautiful."

Shane- "I'm glad you like them."

Kelly- "So, how was your Valentine's day?"

Shane- "Nothing special, I was in Florida working.  How about yours?  Please tell me you didn't work the whole day?"

Kelly- "Yep, I did."

Shane- "Well, it looks like we both could use some time outside of work."

Kelly- "Yeah, I guess we could."

 

Shane- "Like, you and I in the same place...together...at the same time..."

Kelly- *giggles*  "I get it, a date."

Shane- "Yeah, how do you feel about that?"

 

Kelly- "Um, like I want to be in the same place, together, at the same time too."

Shane- *laughs*

Kelly- "Well, I'm free next week."

Shane- "It's a date."

 

Kelly blushes as she hangs up the phone.

Getting Dolls Moved In

The Patty Pat Way property has sold!

 

Keisha- "Congratulations Mr. Waverly!"

Shane- "Thank you!"

 

While Shane re-examines his new home, Keisha walks over to talk with Dean.

 

Keisha- "Thank you for the referral."

Dean- "No problem."

Keisha- "There's a property that just might be a great fit for you and Mrs. Waverly.  Although, it's still under construction, but it's built enough to allow a tour."

Dean- "When can we see it?"

Keisha- "How about today?"

Dean- "Sounds good, I'll give Halle a call."

 

Keisha- "Perfect!"

 

Keisha finishes up with Shane and Dean, then heads across town to finalize another sell.

 

After completing contract signing with Kelly, she hands over the keys.

Keisha- "Congratulations, you're now a homeowner!"

Kelly- "Wow, what an amazing feeling!  Thank you for everything!"

Keisha- "It was my pleasure!"

 

Kelly's dad, Andrew, enters the room (he's been touring the house).

Kelly- "What do you think?"

Andrew- "It's a beautiful house, it suits you", as he walks towards her.

Andrew- "I'm proud of you Kelly.  You're getting your business started and now a homeowner.  Well done."

Kelly- "Thanks daddy."

 

A few hours later, Keisha meets with Halle and Dean.

 

Keisha- "Hello you two!  Thanks for making it out."

 

Dean- "Sure thing," as they make their way closer.

 

Keisha- "So, before I give you a walk through, I would like to give you this to carry along.  It's what the house will look like once it's completely finished."

Halle- "Love the layout."

Dean- "So, two floors?"

Keisha- "And an attic!  This house has four bedrooms and two baths.  There will be a laundry room, an eat-in kitchen and study."

Halle- "Sounds amazing."

Keisha- "It's a great house in a great community!  Also, it's not too far from the city, so you don't have to worry about a long commute to work."

 

After having a few more words, Keisha moves on to give them the tour.

 

Over the next thirty minutes, Keisha walks them from room to room.  Halle and Dean do their best to visualize it's completion and they begin to like it more and more.

 

Keisha also informs them that there are currently five similar properties being built in the community and they're selling fairly quickly.

 

Looks like Halle and Dean have a lot to think about.

Where To Go From Here.. Continued

Alex and Clark have been chatting at the bar and decide to move to one of the tables.

 

Clark- "I have a question for you."

Alex- "Shoot."

 

Clark- "I overheard you ask for Jessie, are you and him a thing?"

 

Alex- "No, I just needed a place to stay for a while."

Clark- "Oh?"

Alex- "I'm in transition."

 

Clark- "There's room at my place."

Alex- "And the Mrs.?"

Clark- "Separated.  I moved out a few weeks ago."

 

Alex- "Sorry to hear that."

Clark- "It's been a long time coming."

Alex- "Oh, is that right?"

Clark- "Yep!"

Clark- "I hope you take me up on my offer."

Alex- "I barely know you."

Clark- "This is a bit rash, however you'll have a room to yourself and you can stay as long as your transition takes."

 

Alex- "How about, I think about it?  In the meantime, you can call me if you need someone to talk to."

Clark- "Alright."

 

Alex's cellphone rings.

 

Alex- "Excuse me", as she pulls her phone from her purse. 

Alex- "It's my sister again."

 

Alex- "I have to run, but here's my number", sliding it across the table.  "Call anytime."

 

Clark- "Sure will."

 

Alex has been dodging Halle's calls all day and she finally makes contact by popping into Elle La La.

 

Halle- "Hey, where have you been?!  I've called you four times."

Alex- "Looking for a place to stay."

 

Halle- "You can stay with us."

Alex- "You don't even want me there!"

 

Halle- "Alex, please don't be difficult."

Alex- "Did mom call you?"

Halle- "Yes and she's concerned.  You should call her."

Alex- "I'll call her later."

Halle- "Okay."

 

Alex takes a seat and Halle makes her way back to her chair.

Halle- "Well, I'm making dinner tonight, do you have a taste for anything?"

Alex- "Not really."

 

Alex gets a call from Clark and excuses herself.

 

She returns to the office 15 minutes later.

 

Alex- "I've made other arrangements, so I won't have to burden you and Dean."

Halle- "Alex, it's not a burden."

Alex- "That's what it feels like."

Halle- "Granted it's not the ideal situation so soon, but you're welcome to stay as long as you need to."

Alex- "Well, if this situation doesn't work out, I'll be there."

Halle- "What's the situation?"

Alex- "A spare room at a friend's house."

Halle- "Which friend?"

Alex- "Uh, Mimi."

Halle- "That was nice of her."

Alex- "Except she said no."

Halle- "What?"

 

Alex- "I just lied to you."

Halle- "Please stop."

Alex- "Then don't judge me."

Halle- "...I won't."

Alex- "It's Clark Gilbert."

Halle- "The married Clark Gilbert?"

Alex- "It's not what you think."

 

Halle- "Then what is it?"

Alex- "He's separated and we're just gonna be roomies.  Nothing more."

Halle- "It's a bad idea."

Alex- "That sounds like judging to me."

Halle- "It's not judging, it's sisterly advice.  Alex, come stay with us."

Alex- "I've made up my mind."

Halle- "Well, our door is always open."
