Surprise!

Alex arrives home late in the evening (from her 1st modeling job with Diamond Modeling Agency) and is super surprised when she walks inside.

 

Ethan has hired a few painters to paint her place.

 

Ethan- "So, what do you think?"

Alex- "Pretty jazzy, I love it!"

 

Alex- "How did you know I changed my mind to black?"

Ethan- "Halle."

Alex- "Ah ha, I guess that's how you got in here too."

Ethan- "It wasn't easy, I had to beg a little.  She really did not want to give up those keys or let me inside."

Alex laughs- "I'm glad she came around."

Ethan smiles- "Me too."

Ethan- "You know, that got me to thinking, maybe  I could get my own set of keys?"

Alex- "Hmm..."

Alex- "Okay, I'll give you a set."

Ethan- "Wow, that was easy."

Alex- "What can I say, I like you."

Ethan smiles.

Alex hugs him- "Thank you.  This is awesome."

In the Kitchen with Carissa and Alex

After leaving the café, Alex accompanied Carissa to the grocery store.  Then they

made their way to Carissa's place.

 

Carissa- "Why not sign with a modeling agency?"

Alex- "Their take percentage is too high."

Carissa- "Something is better than nothing."

Alex- "Yeah, heaven knows I could use some cash flow...I'll see what I can find."

Carissa- "What ever happened to dancing?  Isn't that what you went to school for?"

Alex- "Um, no one seems to want to hire me lately."

 

Carissa- "Hmmm, did you do something to someone?"

Alex- "That's not cool to assume that Carissa."

Carissa- "I've seen you dance and you're super talented, so that can't be it."

Alex- "I may or may not have gotten a bad reputation."

Carissa- "Alex, are you going to take your career more seriously?  Or is this just wasted time?"

Alex- "Carissa, yes I'm serious."

Carissa- "Good."

Alex- "Okay, enough about me.  It's your turn in the hot seat."

 

Alex- "How's the love life?"

Carissa- "Um..."

Alex- "Oh is that off limits?"

Carissa- "No, I just wasn't expecting that question."

Alex- "Well?"

Carissa- "There's nothing to talk about.  I'm completely and utterly single."

Alex- "What happened to the blonde from the New Year's party?"

Carissa- "Over."

Alex- "No one since him?"

Carissa- "Nope."

Carissa- "And I'm finally fine with that.  I've been focused on work, fixing up my home and taking care of me.  Yoga has been a dream."

Alex- "Yeah, that's all great, but it's still nice to have someone to tussle in the sheets with, even if it's just casual."

Carissa- "Tempting, but I'm not a casual kind of girl.  I'm not desperate for a man.  And I'm getting a cat."

Alex- "Lucky cat."

Carissa- "Ha ha very funny."

Decorating Carissa and Kelly's houses has been on my to do list for a while and I've finally

got around to adding a few things!

I'm still working out the corner in the living room and thinking about adding curtains to the bedroom.  It's still a work in progress, but I'm super happy with how her place came together.

There wasn't a whole lot to do, I just added accessories throughout the house and the curtains made a world of difference!

Alex Moves Into Her New Place

She gets the bathroom cleaned...

While, Halle helps out by tackling the kitchen...

And Dean and Jessie have been asked to remove the changing table.

Dean- "Alex."

Alex- "Uh huh?"

Dean- "This isn't gonna budge."

Alex- "What?!"

Jessie- "It's not going anywhere."

Alex- "Are you sure?"

Jessie- "Yes."

Alex- "Fine, I'll make it work.  Thanks anyways."

 

Dean- "Anything else?"

Alex- "Can you guys remove the bed?  I don't know why they left it."

 

Jessie- "Show us the way."

 

The guys grab the bed from the bedroom.

Alex- "You can sit it on the curb outside.  Someone will pick it up."

Dean and Jessie have set the bed outside and re-enter.

Dean- "Hey there beautiful."

 

Alex- "Thanks."

 

Alex- *cough* "Hello?"

Halle- *smile* "Yes?"

Alex- "Now on to painting."

Jessie- "Painting!?  You didn't say anything about painting."

Alex- "Just came up.  I want the inside and outside painted grey."

 

Dean- "Tonight?"

Alex- "Yep."

They all laugh.

Halle- "Oh goodness."

Jessie- "Alex, what are we going to do with you?"

Alex- "Okay everyone calm down."

 

Needless to say, painting will be left for another day.  The guys finish helping her move things around, Halle continued to assist with cleaning and then they all went home.
