Carissa- "Hello folks. I've just bought my first home, which is tremendously exciting and I have a quick tour for you! Just keep in mind I haven't done much decorating and many of my rooms are quite empty, however that won't be for long. I've been looking for an excuse to do some shopping and now I have one."
"The living room."
"The restroom."
"The bedroom."
"The room that sealed the deal! The kitchen."
"I am completely in love with this place!"
"Thanks for spending some time with me. I'll see you later. Bye for now."

So, no more sub-leasing for Carissa!
I found this dollhouse at the thrift and did a complete renovation. The house was pink inside and out and covered with tons of scrapbook paper.
I stripped the paper, gave it a few coats of paint and installed flooring. But, I had to add my own scrapbook paper to the walls that were too damaged even for paint.
There are still a few things that need to be done, like window and wall trimmings. So, it's a work in progress. :)
It's very nice! I love it!
ReplyDeleteWow! What a great find! It looks amazing! I'm sure Carissa is looking forward to entertaining soon. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Tracy! She can't wait to show off her new place. :)
DeleteHello from Spain: nice house. I like the rooms. All furnishings are fabulous. I like the kitchen and bathroom. A very inspiring decoration for me. Keep in touch
ReplyDeleteThanks Marta! Carissa is eager to get more decorating done. :)
DeleteThat's an awesome find! It looks amazing with your renovations!!
ReplyDeleteCarissa is quite the lucky new homeowner!
Yes, she is! There was a serious bidding war over here and Carissa came out the winner. Thanks Heather!
DeleteNice! Carissa's new place looks fab.
ReplyDeleteThanks Vanessa!
DeleteCute apartment! I always loved seeing Carissa1 I think she is one of my favorites in your story.
ReplyDeleteThanks William! Well, you'll be seeing lots more of her. :)
DeleteHow did u do the floors they look awesome
ReplyDeleteThanks Janelle! I used two 12 in. x 12 in. vinyl tiles for each room, that I picked up from Home Depot (they range from about .39 cents to $1 and some change). They're very easy to install, since they're peel and stick.
DeleteYou are so lucky to find something like this! It is amazing. I love the kitchen and the attic area will be great for storage.
ReplyDeleteThanks Connor! Finding this house was truly amazing and for it to have an attic was just like the icing on the cake. I'm sure it will fill up fast.
DeleteThanks Muff!
ReplyDeleteThis is absolutely fantastic!
ReplyDeleteGreat job on the house Adrian! I love everything especially the bathroom. Did you take a before pic of the house? I am curious as to which house it was originally?
ReplyDeleteNo and I was so upset with myself for not taking a before picture. Ugh!! When I got the house, I just dived right in with the fix ups. But, it looks like it was a custom build though. The best part is, that it doesn't seem to be extra complicated. Been thinking about building one for another one of my girls.
