6 in the Morning

Jessie and Carissa are snoozing.

 

 

Meanwhile,

over at the Waverly's place...

 

Halle kisses Dean goodbye.

Halle- "I'll see you later babe.  Have a good day at work."

Dean- "You too, I love you."

Halle- "I love you too."

 

Then she's out the door.

 

 

At Mocha Velvet

Kelly is meeting with Kiko (recommended by Dean), who's going to help with marketing, promotion and anything else she needs to get business on the up.

 

Kiko's just had samples of a few of Kelly's desserts.

 

Kiko- "Your stuff is absolutely delicious."

Kelly- "Thank you."

Kiko- "Okay, now..."

 

Kiko- "It's going to take time for change, along with my friend focus, good old determination and a ton of patience."

Kelly- "Well, I'm all in, whatever it takes."

Kiko- "Fantastic."

 

 

The Boutique

Tiffany and Amber are working the morning shift with Halle.  They all prepare for opening.

Halle- "I need you to place these items in the machine, along with the ones in this box."

Amber- *in a whisper* "Ugh, I hate this."

Halle- "What was that?"

Amber- *sniff* "Nothing, Halle."

Halle- "Amber, please turn around and talk to me."

Amber turns with tears in her eyes.
Halle- "Amber, what is going on?  Is there anything you want to talk about?"

Amber- "No!"

Halle- "Can I talk to you in my office?"

Amber- "Why not here?"

Halle- "Look, Amber, maybe this isn't the best fit for you."

Amber- "Huh?  What?  Does that mean you're firing me?!"

Halle- "I'm so sorry, Amber, but it just isn't working out.  I truly hoped that-"

Amber- "Save it!"

 

Amber throws the shoes down

 

And hustles out the door.

Tiffany- "Halle, I'll load the machine.  I'm done with the mannequins."

Halle- "Thanks Tiffany."

 

As Tiffany works with the machine, Halle goes to take care of the paperwork for Amber's firing.

Closing Time

Tiffany and Amber have just finished facing the shop.  They have to wait for Halle, who's in the office counting out the registers, so they can all walk out together.

 

Amber whispers- "What do you think about Halle?"

 

Tiffany- "I like her.  Why?"

Halle emerges from the office- "Okay ladies, all done.  Let's get out of here."

Amber whispers- "Never mind."

 

They all walk out, Halle locks up and they say goodnight.

 

30 Minutes Later

Halle- "Babe, I'm home."

Dean- "In here."

Dean- "Right on time."

Halle- "Gosh, that smells delicious."

Dean grins- "Thanks babe.  Slide me a plate, I'll serve you up."

She slides both plates over.

 

They sit and enjoy their dinner.  Afterwards, have a shower and then to sleep.

Noontime at the Boutique

Kayla has been hired on as a part-time sales associate (her previous job

at the ice cream shop, retired their business).

 

Halle has been in the stockroom training her with price tagging items and they have

reached the end of her training.

 

Halle- "Do you have any questions?"

Kayla- "Nope, I got it!"

(Over the boutique Intercom) Tiffany- "Halle you have a call on line 1."

 

Halle leaves Kayla to finish tagging and heads to her office.

She walks in and Amber is at her desk.  She's supposed to be working the front end with Tiffany.

Halle- "What's going on?"

Amber- "I wanted to talk to you about the assistant position."

Halle- "Amber, we've talked about this a few times already and there's been no change.  It's not an open position."

Amber- "Um, well...that's how I started."

Halle- "I know, it was a mistake on my part."

 

(Over the boutique Intercom) Tiffany- "Spill cleanup in the front please."

Halle- "Can you take care of that."

Amber- *sighs* "Sure."

Halle- "Thank you."

Halle picks up line 1- "Hello, Halle speaking."

Dean- "I missed you this morning."

A Mistake ... or is someone Stealing?

It's noon time.  Dean drives over to Halle's workplace.

 

Customer- "Thank you!"

Tiffany- "You're welcome!  Have a nice day."

Customer- "You too."

 

Tiffany- "Hey Mr. Waverly, looking for your wife?"

 

Dean- "Yeah, do you know where I can find her?"

Tiffany- "She's in the stockroom."

Dean- "Okay, thanks."

Tiffany- "No problem."

 

Dean makes his way to the back, meanwhile Halle's on the phone...

 

Halle- "Ma'am there's no reason to get upset, I'm just trying to figure out what's going on."

(Pause)

Halle- "This is the second box that I've received that's been missing merchandise.  The first was missing four dresses and now it's six pair of jeans."

(Pause)

Halle- "Yes, you can call back at this number."

(Pause)

Halle- "Thank you.  Bye."

Dean- "Everything okay?"

Halle- *pleasantly surprised* "Babe, what are you doing here?"

Dean- "I wanted to treat you to lunch and check up on you."

Halle walks up and plants a kiss on his lips- "Babe, I'm fine.  Really.  And I would love to have lunch."

Halle- "But, it'll be another forty five minutes or so.  Carra's at lunch now, then I'm sending Tiffany when she gets back."

Dean- "That's okay, I have time."

Halle- "Then again, today I'll probably have no more than fifteen minutes for lunch."

Halle- "And now I have to figure out what's going on with my merchandise."

Dean- "What do you mean?"

Halle- "Missing product."

Dean- "Do you think it's the vendor?"

Halle- "I'm not sure, they're looking into it now."

Halle- "I'll just have to stop ordering from them.  That's too bad, I love their products." 

Dean- "Maybe it's in house."

Halle- "What?  You think someone here could be stealing?"

Dean- "I know a great way to find out."

Halle- "Cameras?"

Dean- "Yep."

Halle- "Hmmm...okay, I'll get some installed."

 

An hour later Halle and Dean enjoy lunch in her office.
