Halle is home from work (Dean's still working) and Carissa has come over.

They sit outside and talk for a little while.

They've shared their stories, Halle about Amber and Carissa talks about her date with Oliver. They end their conversation with Carissa's night with Jessie.

Halle- *grin* "Way to go, Carissa."

Carissa- "I had an amazing time with Jessie, but then I got to thinking...what if spending the night with him wasn't the best idea. The first time we went out wasn't a shining moment. But, we remained friends. But now, with this intimate factor, what if we pursue things and it goes horribly wrong? There goes a friend. This was way too irresponsible."

Halle- "Carissa, you're one of the most responsible dolls I know. You're really overthinking this. It's okay. It's not the end of the world. Just have some fun."

Shane gets a call from Kelly

(They have a date planned for later in the evening.)

Shane- "Please don't tell me you can't make it."

Kelly- "I hate to do this again, but work is calling."

Shane's a little disappointed- "I understand. We'll get together some other time."

Kelly- "Sorry Shane."

They hang up.

Alex at a Dance Audition

One of the Talent Casters- "Thank you, we've seen enough. We'll be posting numbers on the door shortly, so be sure to check for your number to see if you've made it into the show."

Alex- "Thanks."

12 Noon

Halle digs out the 'Help Wanted' sign.

Meanwhile...

At Pinnacle, Dean and Olivia talk potential investment opportunities.

On the other side of Town

Alex gets another modeling job, through the model agency.

Carissa Wakes Up

She grabs her dress and puts it on.

She combs her fingers through her hair to tame the messiness and then finds her way to the restroom.

When she's done, she looks for Jessie and finds him in the kitchen.

Carissa- "Hey there."

Jessie gets up.

Wrapping his arms around her- "Hey, how did you sleep?"

Carissa- "Wonderful."

Jessie- "Good."

Carissa- "What time is it?"

Jessie- "Noon. How about I order up some lunch?"

Carissa- "That would be nice, but I should go."

Jessie- "So soon?"

Carissa- "Yeah, I know, sorry."

Jessie- "No need to be sorry. I'll just have to call you later."

Carissa- "Hope so."

They say goodbye.

Carissa's Home

She puts her things down,

Says hello to Gigi,

Grabs a shower,

Then checks her messages. There's one from Halle and a few angry ones from Oliver.

She returns Halle's call, but it goes to voicemail.

She gets up carrying Gigi with her, lies across the bed and

Wonders what to do about Oliver.

Shane and Kelly's Dinner Date

Kelly opens the door.

"Hey."

Shane- "Wow, you look great."

Kelly- "Thank you."

Shane- "Shall we?"

Kelly- "Yes."

They make it to the restaurant, have already ordered their meals and engaged in conversation.

Kelly- "Well, I'm curious to know about your last relationship."

Shane- "It was right before my deployment. We were together for close to a year."

Kelly- "What happened?"

Shane- "She broke up with me, after I told her I was being deployed. I came home and all her things were gone with a note on the fridge."

Kelly- "Oh that's awful."

Shane- "Yeah, I thought so too. But, I got over it."

Shane- "How about you? When was your last?"

Kelly- "Um, some years back. It actually started in high school."

Shane- "High school?"

Kelly- "Yep, my junior year."

Shane- "How long did it last?"

Kelly- "Four years. Although, two of those were long distance. I stayed here for college and he didn't. And after a while, it became too hard, so we ended it mutually and stayed friends."
