Closing Time

Tiffany and Amber have just finished facing the shop.  They have to wait for Halle, who's in the office counting out the registers, so they can all walk out together.

 

Amber whispers- "What do you think about Halle?"

 

Tiffany- "I like her.  Why?"

Halle emerges from the office- "Okay ladies, all done.  Let's get out of here."

Amber whispers- "Never mind."

 

They all walk out, Halle locks up and they say goodnight.

 

30 Minutes Later

Halle- "Babe, I'm home."

Dean- "In here."

Dean- "Right on time."

Halle- "Gosh, that smells delicious."

Dean grins- "Thanks babe.  Slide me a plate, I'll serve you up."

She slides both plates over.

 

They sit and enjoy their dinner.  Afterwards, have a shower and then to sleep.

Noontime at the Boutique

Kayla has been hired on as a part-time sales associate (her previous job

at the ice cream shop, retired their business).

 

Halle has been in the stockroom training her with price tagging items and they have

reached the end of her training.

 

Halle- "Do you have any questions?"

Kayla- "Nope, I got it!"

(Over the boutique Intercom) Tiffany- "Halle you have a call on line 1."

 

Halle leaves Kayla to finish tagging and heads to her office.

She walks in and Amber is at her desk.  She's supposed to be working the front end with Tiffany.

Halle- "What's going on?"

Amber- "I wanted to talk to you about the assistant position."

Halle- "Amber, we've talked about this a few times already and there's been no change.  It's not an open position."

Amber- "Um, well...that's how I started."

Halle- "I know, it was a mistake on my part."

 

(Over the boutique Intercom) Tiffany- "Spill cleanup in the front please."

Halle- "Can you take care of that."

Amber- *sighs* "Sure."

Halle- "Thank you."

Halle picks up line 1- "Hello, Halle speaking."

Dean- "I missed you this morning."

In the Boutique Backroom

It's now 2 in the afternoon.  The boutique has just been delivered its new inventory of dresses.  Halle's in the backroom, unpacking and pricing the new items.

 

Amber gets into work. 

Amber- "There you are."

Halle- "Hey Amber."

Amber- "Need some help?"

Halle- "Yes, but I would like to speak with you first."

Amber- "Oh no."

Halle- "It's just that I'm going to be moving you to sales associate.  So, you'll be working the floor and I'll have to get you trained on the registers."

Amber- "Did I do something wrong?"

Halle- "Of course not, it was my error.  An assistant is just not something I need at this time."

Amber- "Oh...well, working is better than not working.  Sales associate sounds good to me."

Halle- "Thanks for understanding."

Amber- "Sure."

Halle- "Okay, now let's see...these are finish.  Can you take them out?  You can place them on the back wall."

Amber- "Got it."

Halle- "Thanks."

 

Then she gets back to unpacking.

 

 

On The Other Side of Town

 

Carissa is well rested, but she's still kind of lounging around and decides to sign up for online dating.

Carissa dress shops for her upcoming date

Carissa comes into Elle La La straight from the hospital, looking for something cute to wear for her blind date later in the evening.

 

Carissa- "What about something like this?"

Halle- "Depends, where you two going?"

Carissa- "Dinner and if everything goes well, coffee in the morning."

Halle- "Oh goodness! Please don't, it's considered a bad move."

Carissa- "He could be the one."

Halle- "Then you definitely shouldn't."

Halle- "It's great to be optimistic, maybe not too eager.  You don't want to scare him off."

Carissa- "Yeah, you're probably right.  Ugh, I need a dating handbook."

Halle- "Just go with the flow and you'll be fine.  Don't be so hard on yourself, remember he needs to impress you as well."

Halle- "Oh!  Should I dare say it?"

Carissa- "What's that?"

Halle- "The bottle."

Carissa- "Don't worry, I've put myself on a one glass max."

Halle- "Cool, we wouldn't want history to repeat itself."

Carissa- "Poor Jessie.  I surely did scare him off."

Halle- "How about this one?"

Carissa- "Ooo!  I like that.  Love the lace, very sexy."

Carissa- "Maybe, I should give him a call."

Halle- "Well, he's..."

Carissa- "He's what?"

Halle- "...It's not important", turning back to look through the dresses.

Halle- "Here's another nice one, these just came in."

Carissa- "Very nice.  I'm going to try that one too."

Carissa- "He's in a serious relationship, isn't he?"

Halle- "Umm...well...something like that."  After a few moments, "He's getting married."

Carissa- "Wow!  That's pretty serious.  Well, good for them."

Carissa- "I'll take those."

Halle- "Carissa, please don't let this ruin your date."

Carissa- "Please! I'm totally fine.  We were never in a relationship, we had one dinner and that was it."

 

She turns and quickly grabs another dress from the rack.

Carissa- "I'll try this one too."
